1 It is possible in general but may be tough with Archer C9. Get alternative firmware to your router. OpenWrt supports Archer C9 with serious limitations unfortunately (BCM4360 not usable at all!). With other, full supported router you should get USB dongle (modem) that will work with your SIM card and OpenWrt, then follow this.Simply install a SIM card in the router and you can connect wirelessly, which is the most economical way. For general Internet access, few devices, or monitoring network use only, it is recommended to choose a 4G LTE network card router to connect to the wireless network to save the cost of installing a physical wired network.
TP-Link N150 4G router is of the cheapest options out there. Unlike other routers, this one doesn't have its own SIM slot. It uses a USB port where you can plug in a dongle with your SIM card. Though, it increases the overall cost, but still the package is quite affordable. The best thing about TP-Link N150 is portability.
My current router has 4 ethernet LAN ports which each are connected to a switch which again services other switches, devices, work computers etc. I would like my "drop-in" solution to offer the same. I imagine such a celluar router would either. Take a sim card. The wireless router comes with a SIM card slot and WAN port, making Cudy LT400 a good cellular router for home. Why is it a suitable option? The Cudy LTE router is compatible with mobile service operators like AT&T and T-Mobile.
